For this crowd-pleaser, GZ adorned black satin w/ multi-colored crystals. The t-strap adds sexy-sophistication. Overall, this shoe is smoking-haute! Love it!

Your favorite model's favorite model, Naomi Campbell, always brings the fashion. Check her out, attending the Elle Style Awards in London. She wore a fierce frock from Alexander McQueen's spring 2010 collection. Pairing the dress with a luxurious fur, Campbell could care less about PETA. Smoking-hot! Work!

Christian Louboutin has done it again! Check out the Tell me peep-toe pumps ($1,347 via www.saks.com). This graffiti-inspired shoe is a total show stopper. I'm loving the noir leather w/ white piping. This shoe is Mr. Louboutin @ his finest. Love it!

When Alexander McQueen died, the fashion world lost an amazing artist. Although McQ is gone, his vision remains. Check out the geometric leather pumps ($810 via www.net-a-porter.com). This 80's-inspired shoe showcases the dynamic design ability McQueen possessed. I'm crazy about the yellow & noir contrasting colors. Also, the luxe leather adds a ton of flair. "Lee" was a divine genius & had execution skills unlike no other. Clearly, there will never be another like Alexander. Love him!

R.I.P. Alexander McQueen

Today the fashion world was rocked by a devastating loss. Iconic designer Alexander McQueen died today in London. Allegedly, McQ committed suicide by hanging himself. Nicknamed "Lee" by friends, McQueen was an artistic giant. He was a true innovator & one my favorite designers. He will be deeply missed. Rest in peace!

Super-Dope Hauteness!!!

I only need to use three letters to describe this bag: OMG! Check out the New Age Traveler by Louis Vuitton aka "the bag de jour" ($54,000 via www.louisvuitton.com). The premier piece from spring/summer 2010, this backpack is constructed w/ the finest material. I'm especially loving the crocodile flap & leather tassels. Also, the foxtail is stylistically superb! Needless to say, I'm in love!

Rihanna Rockin' Christian Siriano

Rihanna showed an American designer some love during Super Bowl weekend. Check her out rockin' Christian Siriano spring rtw 2010. She looked super-cute in the blue printed frock. I might have chosen a different shoe, but overall she slayed it. Work!

Valentino Spring 2010 Haute Couture

Inspired by Avatar, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli of Valentino created a beautiful collection for spring 2010 haute couture. This showing was very "outside the box" for the house. I'm especially loving the mix of bold & neutral colors. The grey, chiffon, mini-dress is especially chic. Normally, Valentino is a bit more classic in silhouette but I believe this collection was fresh. Love it!

This Chloe creation is the epitome of casual-chic. Check out this sweet canvas & leather sandal ($650 via www.net-a-porter.com). I'm loving the neutral color combination. Also, the straps add supreme flavor. Perfect for African safari or concrete jungle. Love 'em!

Couture W/out Lacroix?

French couturier Christian Lacroix will not participate in next week's haute couture shows. As previously posted on NoirLace, CL filed for bankruptcy in 2009. This will be the first Parisian haute couture w/out a collection from Lacroix. His exquisite artistry will truly be missed.

Project Runway Season 7

The best reality show ever is returning this Thursday. Project Runway season 7 will premiere on Lifetime Jan. 14 @ 10PM eastern. For this season, the cast returns to NYC. So tune in stylistas, as it's sure to bring the fashion.
