Fendi RTW Spring 2010

Karl Lagerfeld is nothing short of amazing. I'm always fascinated by his ability to create for both the houses of Chanel & Fendi but---even more in awe of his execution. Check out my favorite looks from Fendi rtw spring 2010. The muted color palette is very chic. I'm especially loving the sheer fabric used in the garments. Also, the high-waisted pants w/ peekaboo top is to die! Clearly, Lagerfeld has done it again. Love it!

Gucci RTW Spring 2010

I'm totally convinced, Italians do it better. The house of Gucci is certainly no exception. Feast your eyes on my favorite looks from Gucci's rtw spring 2010 collection. The looks were structured, edgy, and of course sexy. I'm loving the sharp lines & cut-outs used in the garments. The bags were so so but the sunglasses & shoes were sick! With this showing, Frida Giannini definitely worked it out. Love it!

Shoe of the Week

This is innovation @ its finest. Check out Alexander Wang's Hanne Three Buckle bootie ($720 via www.shopbop.com). I'm salivating over the washed-denim colored leather. Also, the heel zipper adds an element of surprise. Only Wang can execute such a mutation. Love 'em!

Versace RTW Spring 2010

The house of Versace brought out the glitz & glamour for spring 2010. Check out my favorite looks from the collection. I'm living for the pastel & metallic color palette. In true Versace tradition, each look was super-sexy. This was an epic showing for Donatella & co. Love it!

Prada RTW Spring 2010

Only two words are needed to describe Prada's rtw spring 2010 collection: amazingly-chic! I love the fact that they showed noir for spring. Everything in the collection was beautiful & cohesive. Miuccia & team truly out did themselves. Bravo!

Blumarine RTW Spring 2010

The House of Blumarine kicked off Milan Fashion Week in a superb way. For spring 2010, Anna Molinari & team incorporated Caribbean elements into the collection. I, especially, love the new tie-dye effect used in the showing. The clothes uber-fresh & wearable. Love it!

Rumor Control: Tom Ford Womenswear?

The fashion rumor mill has been buzzing about Tom Ford. Apparently, the distinguished designer will be launching a womenswear collection. Stylistas have been missing his contribution to the female silhouette, since his '04 departure from Gucci. Ford is an award-winning designer w/ a provocative yet elegant point-of-view. I can't wait for the magic that could be. Love him!

Alexander Wang RTW Spring 2010

Closing out NoirLace's NYFW wrap-up, it's your favorite new designer--Alexander Wang. For spring 2010, Wang continued in the tradition of fabric juxtaposition. Clearly, he has an affinity for leather. I love the belted sweatshirt w/ lambskin detail. Also, the quilted shorts are remarkable! Wang is definitely headed to top in fashion. Love it!

Herve' Leger RTW Spring 2010

With each season, Max Azria re-invents his coveted bandage dress. And for Herve' Leger's rtw spring 2010 collection, he stepped it up another level. Azria's thinner bandages created a less constraining silhouette. Also, the jacket/mini dress combo is super-fresh! With this showing, Azria displayed the evolution of Herve' Leger. Bravo!

Shoe of the Week

This b*tch is sooooo sick! You just might catch Swine Flu just for peeking @ her, lol! Check out the Pigalle 100 studded pumps by Christian Louboutin ($995 via www.net-a-porter.com). Pair these w/ damn near anything & prepare to spread fashion fever. Love 'em!

Phillip Lim is an innovative, edgy, and intricate designer. With his spring rtw 2010 showing, he displayed all of those characteristics. Check out my favorites from his latest collection. I love his use of leather & sequins. The cropped trench definitely deserves an 'Honorable Mention'. Lim is uber-artistic & one of the designers to watch. Love him!
